The Old Baldy Club Internship

The Old Baldy Club Internship

Each year, Old Baldy Club provides the opportunity for two Turfgrass Management students to complete an internship. The Old Baldy internship focuses on all aspects of Turfgrass Management and offers a unique perspective on golf course winterization.

From Experience

"I was looking for somewhere that could prepare me for the industry,... Old Baldy Club was definitely the best fit. I was able to work in the areas where I felt I had the least experience, and was involved in the decision making process on almost every level. The superintendent easily related to all the interns and truly emphasized learning over labor. The internship proved to be a great learning experience and can really prepare a student to move into an assistant superintendent position. If you are looking for an internship, I highly recommened taking a closer look at Old Baldy Club."
--Shaun Knutzen, Washington State University
Former Old Baldy Intern
